General Terms & Conditions For The Online German Tutoring: Main Focus Speaking

a. Payment of the session fee

The session fee must be paid in full before the start date. Payment methods are PayPal or Western Union.

PayPal offers a Buyer Protection that applies if a service you have hired has not been provided or if it is significantly not as described by the provider.

b. Organization

For organizational reasons, I reserve the right to postpone sessions or to cancel them with a refund of fees.

If you have to cancel the session, please do it with common sense or you may lose it without a refund of the fee.

c. Disruptions, force majeure, operation closure and restrictions, network and server errors or viruses

I bear no responsibility for damages caused by force majeure or natural events, network and server errors, for connection and transmission errors and other disorders not caused by me.

I bear no responsibility for damage caused by viruses or similar data.

d. Technical Equipment

I bear no responsibility for your technical equipment (e.g. modem, computer, headset, microphone, etc.).

You are exclusively responsible for the condition of your personal equipment and for performing the obligatory technical steps (e.g.  download of the required tool to communicate online).

e. Exclusion

I reserve the right to exclude participants from a course or session.

In such cases, the whole course or session fee is owed, i.e. a refund of course or session fees is not possible.

Exclusion is due in case of non-payment of the course or session fees and in serious cases such as defamation, harassment, lack of computer skills, i.a.

f. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the start of a session in order to get a refund, i.e. if you cancel later, the entire course or session fee is due.

g. Unattended sessions

Unattended sessions can be rescheduled but not refunded.

h. Changes

I reserve the right to change the program, the fees and these General Terms & Conditions at any time.

i. Court of jurisdiction

All legal matters are subject to Swiss law.

The court of jurisdiction is Aarau (Switzerland).
