In Switzerland, the word used for “hairdresser” is “der Coiffeur“ (m.) [ko̯aˈføːɐ̯] or “die Coiffeuse” (f.) [ko̯aˈføːzə], while in Germany it’s “der Friseur“ (m.) [fʁiˈzøːɐ̯] or “die Friseuse” (f.) [fʁiˈzøːzə]
